Furthermore, the problem with setting such a low monthly goal is that you don’t see the results in yourself and you become disillusioned. 5 pounds in a month is a goal for people that are just a little overweight, rather than a large portion of the US population is that is morbidly obese.
I thought you’re going to perform an exercise.. But thanks anyway for the nice advice.. and thank you for the effort creating this video.. It’s helpful..

sometimes the people around you are uncomfortable with your separate path. you all of a sudden are not eating with them or drinking with them, etc. it’s a bit threatening (they think u r deserting them on some level). people like it when things stay the same because then they don’t have to take a look at what they are doing too. it’s like if you are an alcoholic and you stop drinking. drinking buddies are left to look at themselves…

Great tips. I use Google documents to log everything I ate and what activity I did. Also do you think people focus on pounds lost too much? We women fluctuate so I don’t weigh myself, but instead to periodic measurements. When you work out you lose inches! Very motivating! (ew I hate scales) lol
@jodieleahmorris By eating under what your body needs to function (1200 as a the minimum, more cals are needed for you thought since you exercise) you are ruining your metabolism. Our bodies are smart so they adapt to calorie restriction, so in effect it will start to slow the metabolism to absorb as many calories as it can.

I’ve been having trouble losing weight. I am 14 and at 5’3. I weigh about 128 lbs and have a decent amount of body fat. I never drink soda, no ice cream, and have sweets only on special occasions mostly. My family doesnt keep junky food in the house. I have been exercising and eating less than 1800 calories at most. I do dayly cardio and every other day I lift weights. Any tips?Just kinda frustrating trying so hard and not losing any weight at all…
I agree with you about keeping whatever you want to fit in, or the reason you’re losing weight out where you can see it. I’m 17, and I’m super into anime (a Japanese cartoon) and cosplaying (dressing up as character) but I felt so self conscience in the outfit, I immediately started dieting. And I told myself I wouldn’t wear it till I was a certain weight. Every time I look at my wig or outfit, I’m more determined! Great video. I agree totally.
