OMG! I just had this surgery 4 days ago… So good I didn’t watch this video before going to the surgery. Wow… Well, it wasn’t painful just uncomfortable feelings.

Thing is I don,t quite understand my dry eyes and don,t want it like it is.But I can shure watch surgerys and get some understandings there,.I know back surgery is helpfull.I have no regrets there.But he was really upfront with me like a famaily member.Feels better to me they that way.Some are well you know just better .maybe cause I picked them.Don,t know.Thanks have asweet day.
well my eyes dry bad I use tears drops all night long,But eye tender swells sometimes.I am told they are only dry.Blinking really hurts.Like sand paper.Nasty.Hurts into one tooth so I had tooth pulled.Still hurts but much less.Years.See a doc twice year.Only retests.But I probly won,t want a surgery.You know????
@7466309change Most people get dry eyes after LASIK. The laser and the microkeratome cuts corneal nerves which set the tear production your corneal surface needs.

I got it done about two years ago (never knew it was this nasty), suffered for a day and never had any problems..
Ehhh after seeing this, I want to keep my glasses ;D

Thank you for sharing your story I have never had it explained so well from a person who actually went threw it . I have asked people who went threw it before and they say “Oh I went back to work the next day and no follow ups or anything” I knew there had to be more to the story. thank you

can i ask how strong your perscription was before the procedure? were you nearsighted? i’m considering getting this done when i get older but my eyes have a very strong perscription for nearsightedness.

his eye probably doesnt work because if you look at the eye its cloudy..which usually means blindness.

That’s a pretty amazing video. Thanks for posting. Good to read that it doesn’t necessarily mean the subject will be blind in that eye – it would be better to know the outcome! I know of one guy who has lost sight but with a much larger fly. I’m surprised it doesn’t happen a lot more often. The best reason to wear eye-protection while flyfishing but even that doesn’t give 100% protection. It’s easy to do this by the way, just check out any flycasting video and you can see the risk.
