Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald is one of the most prolific and respected entrepreneurs who have consistently made significant contributions in the innovative diagnosis and treatment of some of the most serious diseases afflicting mankind.  He has founded and invested into 50 companies variously involved in the research, development and marketing of products in the medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Considered relatively young with 20 years of investing experience, he has leveraged his medical training to quickly identify promising R&D work and promptly invest in their business potential.  But without losing his focus on its mission to make the world a better place to live in with innovative medical solutions, Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald has founded a number of biotech firms to explore innovative solutions in treating serious ailments afflicting mankind. A stellar example is his Cougar Biotechnology which developed a prostate cancer drug that had so much promise; the giant pharmaceutical firm Johnson & Johnson acquired the entire company from his BioCapital portfolio for a cool $1 billion.

Dr. Lindsay Rosenwald earned his college degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University, graduating as a Beta Gamma Sigma in 1977.  From there he took his medical degree at Temple University’s School of Medicine, completing it in 1983 before going into internship at the Abington Medical Hospital while going into private practice for a short 2 years.  It was in 1986 when he moved from the doctor’s office into Wall Street to engage in his investing acumen, leveraging his trained medical skills with his natural investment gut feel to carve the reputation he now enjoys.
