I lονе thіѕ recipe whісh I hаνе used fοr a long whіlе. Sugaring іѕ a tried аnd trυе method οf simple hair removal. Jυѕt аѕ уου mау рυrсhаѕе hair removal wax, уου саn mаkе уουr οwn hair removal product thаt οnlу require sugar, lemon juice аnd water! Fοr centuries, women hаνе relied οn thіѕ аnd similar methods. Sugaring іѕ safe tο υѕе аnd іѕ grеаt fοr body аnd face. All hair textures seem tο work well wіth thіѕ recipe. Fοr best results, allow hair tο bе longer thаn a stubble…thіѕ wіll allow hair tο bе “grabbed” іn thе sugar. 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup water Bring tο a boil, stirring constantly. Bring down tο a simmer once уου hаνе brought thіѕ tο a boil. Adjust temperature аѕ needed аnd continue stirring until mixture іѕ a rich brown οr amber color. Pour іntο freezer quality plactic containers οr mason jars (rυn jar under hot tap water аnd dry before using tο avoid cracking glass) Plасе lid οn jar аftеr product hаѕ cooled tο room temperature οr warm enough tο handle. @markee871 Thank you for watching!
You’re absolutely correct, it’s the best, most effective method! I love it.♥

  • markee871 says:

this is a method used today and a loong time ago by Arab women, its more effective then the wax with stips..it removes hair from roots!! and it makes skin shiny and glowing

  • Jasamin1231994 says:

if you don’t use it all the first time…can you use it again somehow after it has cooled down to room temperature? or will it get too hard and you have to reheat it?

  • redfootwalking says:

Hello there totogirl0, thanks for watching my video! I’ve only really sugared, however, I do feel sugaring is far better than the waxing because of the chemicals, the dangers and the costs…but, the process of removing hair is just about the same process, but, the sugar, in my opinion is far safer and eco-friendly. I would try sugaring…the only thing you have to loose is hair. :0) LOL :0)
xoxo Thanks so much for stopping by, tell me what you think!! :0) take care, Nina

  • totogirl0 says:

    Hey Nina!
I heard that sugaring works and lasts longer than waxing…is that true or is it practically the same thing?

    Peace xoxo

  • redfootwalking says:

hi itsCHRISTINAA02, thanks for watching my video, yes, you can use either brown, white (grandulated) or organic sugar, but, I usually use white grandulated sugar because it’s easy to use and cheaper. :0) tell me how it works out 4 you! ;0) take care :0) Nina

  • redfootwalking says:

Hi there akcidulb, thank you for watching my video!! You are very welcome!! :0) take care! :0) Nina

  • redfootwalking says:

Hi there, you can use brown sugar, but the cooking times will vary and also, make sure to pack the sugar well in the measuring up. :0) take care and thanks! Nina

  • redfootwalking says:

Hi there, you’ll have to make sure to allow the sugar to comes to a boil and when it begins to foam on top, bring the heat down just long enough to slow down the boiling. Bring up to a boil again and repeat this process until the sugar browns…the bubbles will be a golden color, then, they will gradually darken with more boiling. :0) let me know…ok :0)
oh and sorry for the delay in my reply, I just got back home. :0)

  • redfootwalking says:

Hello there lavendarkittes, thanks for your patience, I just got back home from my eldest daughter’s band camp concert. Orange juice should be just fine. Sorry for the delay, let me know how this works. thanks! Nina

  • itsCHRISTINAA02 says:

Hii Nina =) . I was just wondering if i can use any type of sugar for this?

  • redfootwalking says:

    Hi there!
you can use grapefruit juice, orange juice, citric acid, lime juice or even apple cider vinegar…but, it’s going to be a little different to use…but, yes, you can use a lot of other citric juices in the same amount of the regular recipe. :0) takecare, and thanks!

  • redfootwalking says:

    Hugs!!!
Your question makes sense…no problem. :0) Usually, for me, it’s about 3 weeks…but, I’m not very hairy…it will vary from person to person, but, you won’t have to sugar as often as it may seem. The hairs will grow back in and feel finer and softer than shaved hair. :0) take care dear and thank you for your patience with me, I have been all over the place running my daughters to and from day camps. :0) HUGS! :0)

  • redfootwalking says:

  • lavendarkittes says:

Hi, I was just wondering what your personal experiences on sugaring with vinegar was? I don’t have any lemon juice, but I do have orange juice…it’s the kind in the carton. Would that work? Or should I just use vinegar?

  • IAmTheBOMB21 says:

i think this waxing ingrent work, but do we have to use lemon. i ran out of lemons and lemons juice so is it okay if i use something else other then lemon?

  • redfootwalking says:

Hello there AshleyChakawri, thanks for getting in touch with me…I think you may have cooked the sugar a bit longer…but, great news…if it’s super hard as a rock, you may be able to soften a bit of it and remove it from the container and add a bit of water to possibly soften it (not easy)…or, you could try the “ball method” if the sugar is soften a bit and if you remove it from the jar, try rolling it into a ball.If that doesn’t work, let’s try to make a new batch. :0) let me know :0)

  • AshleyChakawri says:

Hey Nina, how r u? I have a question, the minute it gets cold, its like candy.. very hard.. Do you know what i did wrong? Thanks so much X

  • redfootwalking says:

Hello nekotali, thanks for watching my video! You may want to heat water on the stove in a sauce pan and once water is heated well, remove and place the container in a bowl and pour the hot water around the sides…allow to sit for 15 minutes…then, that should soften the waxd up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks so much!! :0) take care, Nina
